The slip or the slip dress?

To me this looks like the kind of dress a blushing bride puts on under her wedding dress, not the wedding dress itself.

Well, it’s a pretty slip — but as a dress, it’s way too flimsy-looking. And it makes even the perfectly nice-looking girl in the picture look bustless and even a little hippy. And one shudders to think of the comical effect it would have worn by a larger-breasted woman.
One could also live quite nicely without the Zorro hat.
I shudder along with you, catrandom!
A fourth look tells me that this dress also somewhat resembles a nighty! Why one would pair a nighty with what looks like a somewhat oversized hat is beyond me.
That dress (and shop) remind me of the movie, The Sweetest Thing, when Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate’s characters go into the dress shop and leave looking like… well… a cross between an 80s video chick and the assorted hats one would find circa 1911 at the Kentucky Derby.
Yes, it looks like a slip because it’s not fitted at all, and it’s a little off-center. The beadwork or embroidery at the top looks like it’s a little off to the right and the neckline looks like it might be a little off to the left.
I didn’t know that Diaz was dating Justin Timberlake? I thought she was a lesbian, maybe I was wrong there.
