Apparently weddings haven’t just gone to the dogs, but to the pandas, too. Giant pandas Lin Hui and Chuang Chuang, residents of the Chieng Mai Zoo in Chieng Mai, Thailand, were recently married in a wedding ceremony arranged by the zoo. The bride and groom both wore tuxes.
I thought the picture of the dog wedding was plain silly and wasteful…but for some reason, I found the pandas so cute…until I read the article.
And I thought the dog wedding was a little overboard…HA!
I love those ice cakes they give to animals, though. I watched a special on tigers where they gave tiger triplets meat and ice “cakes” for their birthdays! Even though the idea is yucky, they looked fabulous!
The CK’s father will be certain to raise this very subject at the Christmas dinner with the family. “Did you see that nice panda married recently. [subtle segue] No sign of a boyfriend for you then ?” This is the man after all who has been cheerfully offering to buy me a ladder each birthday for the past 15 years. Much in the spirit of Never teh Bride’s own father.
