A cake as unique as the people eating it

Super cool cake

A friend of mine from college got married a few weeks ago. He is one of a kind and thus I must imagine his lovely bride is also a unique lady. This was their cake. I am not sure, but I think their wedding decor was autumn themed. I just love, love, love the colors on the icing leaves and the stick figure cake topper. I must applaud them for choosing a cake design that reflected their tastes. I sincerely hope it tasted as good as it looked.

Interesting! The cake topper is very Tim Burton.

Haha, I was just going to say that the cake topper reminds me of “A Nightmare Before Christmas.” I like the cake, though. Very unconventional, but not in a nasty way.

I love it – it’s unique without being tacky.

Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” as a wedding theme ? Well, why not. I’ll be teetering on the brink of corpse-dom myself, before I hit the aisle.
I love the imagination shown with this cake.

The flowers and the leaves, are they made of the marzipan?

The Annalucia doffs her hat to the confectioner, who is plainly an artist of the first rank.

I believe, Annalucia, that the leaves and such are made of decorative sugar icing with shaded tinting.
