Elegant Brides Aspire to Audrey

Beautiful Audrey

On the subject of not dresses but dressing, I’d like to say that there is no one in the world whose personal style I would most like to emulate more than Audrey Hepburn‘s. Audrey Hepburn was not only a absolutely fabulous dresser, but also charming, humble, and kind. For Christmas this year, if anyone I know is listening, I would like a stocking filled with the Hepburn style. If anyone on your Christmas list has aspirations of being not only glamorous, but also giving, engaging, and gracious, consider surprising them with one of the books, movies, or other stuff below.

I’m also a great admirer of Audrey Hepburn. I was fortunate to be able to go to the Audrey Hepburn exhibit at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence a few years ago. One of the items in the exhibit was that (very small!) gown from “Sabrina”. I now have the exhibit poster hanging in my office so I get to bask in her radiance every day!

no. she isn’t. i wish she were, but now young girls don’t know and don’t care who she was. they care about being sexy and getting guys to notice them.
mrs. hepburn wasn’t like that. there are no celebs now that stand for purity and such.

Hey im 15 and i LOVE Audrey Hepbun and everything she stood for. If there was anyone i could be i would be her. Not even because of how beautiful and unique she was, but because of how she saw and lived life. One Audrey is enough to inspire endless generations because her meaning was timeless and her love was endless….xx

Audrey was such an incredible being, and i’m telling you that if more people had that great zest for life that she did, this world would be a better place.
