I think it's the lighting and the angle, Ninjarina. There appears to be one fold that's not well defined, making that area look flat.

One would probably need a girdle or super-Spanx or some such body rearranger to wear such a dress.

When I first started shopping for dresses, I really, really wanted a Sue Wong sheath. I'm fairly normally sized, which meant that a Sue Wong sheath made me look positively poochy. This dress may not be quite so unforgiving; it looks like it's got more structure. But still.

(My dress should come in this month . . . whee!)

Yow. Reminds me of Rita Hayworth.

If only I reminded myself of Rita Hayworth...

Oh, pretty! I have a dress w/ a similar cut but very simple and in pink. I love the way it hugs my curves too.

Something about the mermaid tail in the first picture bothers me. Was it hemmed a little weird?

hahaha, And "Bony" wasn't meant to sound so unattractive there either! I meant quite slim, as opposed to skeletal.

my sister in law wore a dress just like that for her wedding, she is very tall (over 6' ft) and very bony, so it suited her wonderfully. She wasn't quite as curvaceous as this model, but lovely just the same.

you do have a thing for these gowns though don't you NtB? I remember the post about the gown with the ivory and gold lace-where she looked like she was sniffing her pits?
