Honestly. I made the mistake of showing up about 15 minutes after the doors were opened (Boston, 1995), and there were about 20 sad-looking gowns unclaimed. Women stripping down in the aisles, mothers and brides to be guarding their stash of gowns...Fellini-esque. It really *is* that bad. Honestly.
