Perfect for a wedding…under the sea!

Can someone patch that hole?

Let me start off by saying that I love most Allure Couture gowns. They have some real stunners in tulle and crystal and silk. But that doesn’t mean I have to stifle my giggles when looking at this little number. The aptly named Valentine (for I believe the top looks a bit like the peek-a-boo lingerie men mistakenly buy for women around V-Day) features a hand beaded bust with a silk midriff and tulle skirt. And, hey, I like the skirt. I like everything up to and around the diamond shaped hole in between the model’s boobs.

The little mermaid is calling, Allure Couture. She wants her wedding gown back.

I think the Valentine might actually be better than the Ophelia!

NtB, don’t be silly! That skirt would be not only unwieldy, but completely unnecessary for a mermaid! It’s clearly a demure coverup for a Vegas showgirl. :)

You have a point there, Style Graduate – I have never seen a mermaid with non-boob private parts!

Her hair reminds me of old Russian braids

Ekaterina gets a pass b/c this was worn during a tribute to her husband who’d died young of a heart attack. I don’t know who thought that hair combined w/ a beaded bustier and a few miles of tulle was a good idea – maybe she is a belly dancer like that other girl?

To paraphrase dear Manolo; this sha boom-boom look is giving me a migraine.

It actually looks a bit like the dress Carly O’Brien wore, albeit much smaller: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006280830,00.html

Holy crap, look at that dress Carly O’Brien wore. I’m assuming she’s just some random girl, not a celeb of some kind? Anyway, this is an example of why sixteen-year-olds shouldn’t be getting married.

Reminds me too of the dress Ziyi Zhang wore to this year’s Academy Awards. Kinda awkward seashell cupping action going on.

That’s a coach? I thought that Carly person was maybe one of those people who are forced by medical necessity to live in a bubble!

OH MY GOD – who the hell in their right mind models anything – clothing or event – after JORDAN?! She’s the epitome of tacky!

Zhang Zi Yi needs to fire her stylist. In fact, most HK/mainland celebs know NOTHING about looking good. I’ve gone through enough years having to see their horrible fashion sense plastered in magazines.

If I’m not mistaken, I saw a blurb on TV recently about the red-carpet teaming of Armani and Ziyi Zhang. Kind of a diluted Audrey Hepburn/Givenchy feel about the whole [fashion] relationship.

Now, I’d be more than happy to let Armani dress me each week for church (the fanciest I ever get at this point in my life, I’m afraid). But I’d look an awful lot more like Ursula the Sea Witch in that black dress than I would like the Little Mermaid…
