Loathe to toss it

It seems a shame to hide it!

A throwaway garter is a must when you’ve got a garter this awesome! This is an example of one of the one-of-a-kind, handmade and hand dyed satin garters created by Gulden & Brown Vintage and sold on VintageGown.com. Crafted out of 1930′s style Boudoir Lingerie Satin, raspberry tint lace, and a hand painted Victorian Gothic winged heart, it’s a shame guests will only have a chance to see it once during the wedding reception.

Each garter featured on the site is dyed (sometimes twice or even thrice) using natural organic tints that create a vivid hue and soften the delicate lace. All of the embellishments are unique in origin and thus designs cannot be replicated exactly. If you’re looking for a truly special accent piece to wear on your big day, this may be it!

Ooh la la!

That’s actually a really lovely garter. (I never thought that I would hear myself say those words.) It’d be a shame to see it hanging from the rearview mirror of a Trans-Am…

Or being tugged off by a groom inclined to use his teeth…ugh.

I’ve been desperately trying to contact Gulden and Brown to buy one of their garters but have had no response – do you have a telephone number for them, please ?

I regret that I don’t, Julie. I was scouring the site for a phone number when I came across this pronouncement: “All correspondence is by email.”

How odd, though, that they wouldn’t answer. Are you interested in one they feature on the site? The order forms and things seem to be working but you may be looking for something different.

There are multiple e-mails on the site: gulden_brown@att.net and gulden_brown@worldnet.att.net and design-house@worldnet.att.net
