This bridesmaid sounds as bitchy and high-maintenance as the bride! Crying because other people saw her ugly feet and commented on them? Yeah, it’s hurtful, but what adult actually sheds tears over it? Being pissed that she didn’t get the best room in the house? Seriously? If this is a normal Asian family, the house was probably crawling with people, but she thinks the best room in the house should have been hers?

But thank God she looked good in her bridesmaid gown! Yeah! Did she mention she looked good? That she was the prettiest of the bridesmaids? It’s too bad she has no photos to prove it, but you would have agreed, if you saw them! She looked good! Did she mention how good she looked?

I think this girl just suffered from a bad case of culture shock, granted her brother’s fiancee was quite rude in the beginning. With the bunion thing – sorry, Asian people, especially family, will not pretend like they don’t see a problem. When they ask about that stuff, it’s probably b/c they’re genuinely interested/concerned and not acting like there’s an elephant in the room. Privacy, for people that have large families but live is small quarters, is non-existent and she probably came off high-maintenance and ungrateful to her hosts; everyone else is doing it in public, why should she get special treatment just b/c she is self-conscious?

And yes, the bride and groom would have probably gotten the room b/c they are the stars of the moment. To have her brother bow out to his sister over his wife would imply that he is being a bit disrespectful. I can understand how they can see that the whole spider issue and heat could be ignored by people who live there but again, she probably came off fussy b/c everyone else was probably dealing with it.
