The creation of a cake

Michelle Wibowo creates fantastic sculptural cakes and sugar creations. The cake above isn’t, IMO, one of the best examples of her work, but I thought I’d feature it as it is a wedding cake. Wibowo’s other cake creations include entire museums, dinosaurs, Louis Vuitton bags, sneakers, and more. Her cake toppers are pretty stunning as well. She’ll sculpt you and your sweetie out of sugar. Or, as is the case here, your cell phone and your cell phone’s sweetie…
You can see Wibowo in action in this short film below. It’s cool to watch, but the notion of cutting and serving a frosted baby cake sort of turns my stomach. YMMV, of course.

Brilliant, yes. But it totally reminds of a nightmare I had in the 3rd grade of someone eating my baby brother. Scaryness!

If I was at the party where they served that cake, I would totally put dibbs on the head. As loudly as I could. “I CALL HEADSIES!”

THAT is without a doubt THE most horrifying thing I’ve ever seen. In fact, I think it beats out that pic Manolo put up of Oksana….

I thought three things while watching that:
1. “Get in my belly!”
2. I will have to fight never teh bride for the head (unless she’d just give me the eyes…i eat the eyes off of Peeps first then their heads)
3. The only way that cake could be better is if the inside was red velvet.
I’m sick I know.
