Not every bride- and groom-to-be is keen on full size cakes, like this one from Fancy Cakes By Leslie:
Luckily for these unique individuals, Leslie and many of her fellow cake artisans are happy to scale down their work.
But don’t think that scaling down means sacrificing flavor. Leslie’s cakes — whatever the size — come in white, lemon, spice, banana walnut, chocolate fudge, almond, and tiramisu, and she’s even willing to consider using a favorite family recipe. Yum!
In case you can’t tell, I’m still waiting for The Beard to set up my computer. Working on his is such a pain!
Those are beautiful. If they taste half as good as they look, there will be some happy tastebuds out there!
Aw, now I’m hungry!
NtB, I know you are going through bookmark withdrawal, so I thought I would throw you some of mine to tide you over until your machine comes back. Unfortunately I am at work now, so I can only give you a few:
1) New Lela Rose wedding gowns; I love the obi-inspired sash on the first one!

2) This Indiebride thread has a bunch of different B&Bs, hotels, etc. from around the world. Good honeymoon inspiration! http://kvetch.indiebride.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=672687&rid=0&S=e55610c0dee94c14f8ac93568b320e5f#msg_672687
3) Wedding music (classical guitar!) for charity. http://thisisleeds.co.uk/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=2063410§ionid=39
Enjoy!
Yay! Thank you so much, Go Amie!
I was checking out those beautiful cakes and the crabcake caught my glaze and I said, “they must be Marylanders!” and lo and behold Fancy Cakes by Leslie Inc. is located not 30 minutes from my own house! I was just so pleased to see a local business that I’ll be able to turn to should I find myself planning a wedding one day that I had to comment.
I wish I could help you out with the bookmarks thing, but sadly NtB, you are my only bridal bookmark.
