Gown shopping at Tar-jzhey
I received a tip from one Toni this morning stating that Target will soon be carrying actual wedding dresses in its online store. And thank goodness for that tip, as I’m rather late on the uptake on this one. That Mizrahi fellow who is so fond of groping famous boobies on the red carpet has designed a line of simple, classic wedding dresses that will start at a mere $159.99.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the eight dresses – in ivory, white or black – include a classic tulle princess dress, slinky silk cowl-neck sheath, and a ball gown with a lace shell. The collection also includes a line of bridesmaids dresses, satin peep-toe pumps, lace slingbacks and other shoes for the bride, and cummerbunds and ties for the groomsmen.
These (and the rest of the dresses) are set to debut on May 6 and will be sold exclusively through Target.com, so keep your eyes peeled!

Interesting. I like these designs much better than the Disney “inspired” ones.
They’re really quite elegant. Now that’s what I call a real bargain!
Is it wrong of me to think how easily I could embellish them for a really unique look?
If that’s wrong, Twistie, then I don’t want to be right.
Oh, do I wish they carried these when I was getting married. Not only am I a devoted Target shopper, but I was a girl on a budget and ended up opting for the bridesmaid-dress-in-bride-color option. Don’t get me wrong, it looked fab, but I love the look of these target dresses!
Glad I could help!
i agree..can be embellished to 5star status…i’m not usre the kleinfields and david’s bridals of the world would be happy though…i personally hate the having to book an appointment with the ubiquitous assistant aargh! i’ll take the chance off the rack!
