It was the perfect day - and there wasn't anything that felt "cheap". Admittedly, we have friends who are professional sound/staging technicians, photographers & videographers who helped us out instead of giving us gifts :-) I think being creative and learning to do things yourself is the way to go! My hubby & I tied the knot last Saturday and we managed to spend less than a quarter of the average wedding – and you know what? It was the perfect day – and there wasn’t anything that felt “cheap”.

Admittedly, we have friends who are professional sound/staging technicians, photographers & videographers who helped us out instead of giving us gifts :-)

I think being creative and learning to do things yourself is the way to go!

I'd like to take my afternoon walk in a couture gown and a parasol, and pass 10 people doing the same thing.
