If you change your mind, she’s the first in line

Not so keen on the whole gown thing? Maybe you’ve lived your whole life in pants, and you’re not about to change that. If that’s the case AND you’ve been dreaming of an ABBA tribute wedding since you were just a wee slip of a lass, then Xiamen Wellton Fashion of Taiwan has the bridal getup for you. According to the limited amount of company information I could find, their wedding wear is popular in Europe, America, the Middle East, Japan, and “other areas.” Honestly, I’m not so sure how accurate that statement is when taken in the context of, um, reality. I can’t tell from the model’s expression if she’s thinking “Rawr, I’m a white tigress” or “Someone cut me out of this crazy thing!”

There are parts of Europe where I could see something like that being popular, but I’m with you. All I can hear is Dancing Queen.

  2. LadySun Says:

It probably doesn’t help that her purse(?) looks like a giant calculator. This outfit kind of almost says to me “I’m going to get married over lunch, hope that’s OK.”

  3. Blake Says:

I think it’s actually cute on her (love the big hair: this NEEDS it), but on me you’d be thinking of Britney in sequined undies or worse.

    Ew. Really, really ew.

Why is my comment awaiting moderation?

i think it looks smashing! but then, i often find that nice swishy pants make me look better than a skirt (i have oddly shaped legs that i don’t like showing off).

and i think that with the right kind of tunic top or mandarin colored/asian influence top (like a shorter version of the top of an ao dai) would look very pretty with the pants - or even an interestingly corseted top.

don’t discount flowy pants ladies! they can hide many flaws and help you feel tall and graceful (which i never feel in a skirt) :D

  7. de Says:

    i meant collared, not colored.

    whoops.

(so no, i didn’t mean an orange top!)

Not quite sure, La petite chou chou. The spam catcher is set to autofire, and it’s not always great at differentiating between real comments and spammy comments. I’m in the process of going through the ‘held’ comments as I write this.

  9. La BellaDonna Says:

Like the De, I find this very appealing. I have a fondness for the fluttery, flowey trousers, and think they make a good alternative for brides.

Heh. I thought she was holding a TV Guide.

  10. Annalucia Says:

There is something strange in the lady’s pose; she appears to be about eight feet tall.

  11. Ninjarina Says:

Annalucia, the photographer is probably down on one knee and shooting “up,” which not only gives the appearance that she is 8 ft tall but that her shirt size is about 4 sizes smaller than her pant size.

  12. Glinda Says:

I saw “Mamma Mia” and this looks like something they wore on stage.

  13. Louise Says:

An Abba Tribute wedding - what a great idea - can I come and sing ? I’m in an Abba Tribute Band
