I think these are interesting wedding dresses. They look like something you could pick up in a Las Vegas hotel gift shop, stocked appropriately right between the condoms and the Kleenex. Do they happen to make either of these styles in paper by any chance? (A lot of Las Vegas weddings don’t last that long…. Ask Britney….)

Umm..maybe if I was secretly eloping and wasn’t planning to show anyone the photos EVER..although, you have to admit your FH might love this type of dress…perhaps wearing something similar for boudoir pics???

For a whole host of reasons, no. Primary reasons being that I’m planning a (Catholic) church wedding and that I would sooner die than have my parents/grandparents OR his parents/grandparents see me in either of those dresses, even if I did have the world’s most desireable body.

The guys in my office all agree that they’d be the first in line to attend a wedding where the bride was wearing one of these numbers. As for me, I prefer the whole not-a-hooker look at weddings. So…no.

@Elizabeth: I totally have a skanky cousin that would wear one, too! Maybe we’re related.

I’m a firm believer in showing a bit of dignity when making solemn vows meant to last a lifetime, so no, I don’t think I’d show off my boobs in my wedding gown, even if I did have the implants the bride on the right is demonstrating.

There’s a time and a place for nearly everything, but not – I think – for these wedding gowns.

Besides, can you imagine wearing something like that in front of your mother? His mother? Grandma????
