Felicitations Pat and Katy! Your wedding looks wonderful – every union should start out so joyously. Katy’s glow is warming my cold fingers as I type.
Having said that, I would like to say: please please refrain from making Manolo for the Brides a blog for pictures of weddings just because they are weddings. I regularly visit this blog for the very interesting perspective and commentary along with interesting items, trends or ideas. Pictures of weddings that are shown because they somehow fit in to the above categories, such as the item on the excellent Showmehelen’s very different and unique wedding, are great. However, if I want to see very lovely picutres of superfantastic brides having absolutely amazingly wonderful weddings, numerous blogs and sites are dedicated strictly to such items.
I’m not a bride or planning to be one but I really enjoy my daily perusal of this blog. I hope it retains all of the things that make it an interesting and amusing part of my day. You guys do a great job. (and congrats to Pat and Katy again)

Jennifer, in lieu of taking away from the happy nature of this particular post, you could simply have wished your congratulations and then emailed Never teh Bride privately with your reservations. You congrats come across as fairly sarcastic when compared with some of the words that follow.
Meanwhile, it looks to me like Never teh Bride is just trying to give a shout-out to her friends, and open the door for other brides to share their own pictures and ideas if they so choose.
That being said, congrats to the happy couple! It’s nice to see such a candid shot of a bride letting loose!

Whoa there, Jennifer. Have no fear — there just happened to be two wedding photo posts nearly back to back because I got a tip and then realized I’d forgotten to give my peeps their promised shout-out. There are no plans on the horizon for MftB to become a wedding photo album!

Oh my. I am so sorry, that was the exact opposite of what I wanted. While I can frequently be accused of sarcasm I did not intend that at all for Pat and Katy. My sincere apologies to them.

These are great pictures, especially the second one! And I’m totally in love with that dress; it’s downright divine. Congrats to Pat and Katy!
