I Can’t Stop Spinning

There’s a rather hypnotic tool over at brides.com to help you determine your wedding/reception color palatte. It’s called the Color Studio. You click your mouse on the color wheel, it spins around, and then spits out a fairly random combination of colors for your consideration.

I don’t know about you guys, but an easily amused person like me could play with this for hours.

Oh, and my favorite combination I landed on was Magenta, Purple, and Orange. Mmmm, tasty colors, but not for the faint of heart. Don’t worry, though, if your taste runs subtler than mine. You could also (and I did once) land on Silver, Blush, and Pearl.

Bad Twisty!!! I just lost 10 minutes of my life spinning the wheel! I’m too much like a kitten, I can be very easily distracted from mundane chores like vacumning when there are cool spinny things to play with…

I love that tool! Mmm many hours..

Have you tried the cake one they have?

What are the odds??? On my very first spin, I got the exact color combination that I actually used at my own wedding: chocolate brown, robin’s egg blue and cream. It’s like it’s INSIDE MY HEAD.

Wow, that’s truly addictive! I was surprised at how much I liked the Lime, Orange and Butter combo I got. (But then again, my own colors were pale green, deep purple and bronze, so maybe I’m already a color freak.)

I loooove the cake toy, Ms. Polka! It’s such a ridiculously simple little thing, but it’s so fun to mess about with the colors.
