Surprisingly, I found that it was the opposite recently, when I was trying to help a well-endowed, but very young and tomboyish girl find a prom dress that was sufficiently “girly” to satisfy her mother’s wishes, but which wasn’t cut down-to-there or covered with frills and ruffles. The various Prom collections were full of slinky, super-sexy dresses that a 15-year-old simply isn’t mature enough or sophisticated enough to wear well, but the Bridesmaid collections had many that had real potential for her. Quite a few of them would also make beautiful, simple, elegant wedding dresses.
