And it looks like this on a skinny model. It does divide the figure up in an innovative manner, and makes a statement, to be sure. I just wouldn't say it does so in a particularly attractive or wearable manner. I love that pink outfit!

What is it about these shops?! A Google search for "bridal salon closes its doors" nets plenty of results from this year, last year, and many years before. I'd tell those brides-to-be to reach out to their local network news programs (and possibly state and city newspapers) because those people have a way of getting results. If nothing else, nice folks sometimes see those reports and offer to outfit the jilted ladies ASAP. The other thing I'd suggest is looking for online dress shops that offer rush shipping or sites that have gowns in stock for immediate delivery. Yes, it means buying a dress twice, but at least they'll have something to wear. If they know the manufacturer/model/size of the gown they bought (and they might not because of tag ripping) they may be able to buy the same dress at an online shop. It's worth taking a look!
