Love it, though perhaps biased by recollection of my boyfriend’s sister getting married in something of a similar shape. It was chilly (April in Chicago), and she also wore a white cardigan she’d embroidered with some classic tattoo imagery (including her now-husband’s name in a bleeding heart). Too cute!

LOVE all the way. I even went to eBay to see if it was still available (I’m petite and usually have good luck with vintage clothing) but alas, I think it’s been sold!

LOOOVEEE IT !!!! and as for it being longer… I’m only 5′1 , so on me it wouldn’t be as short anyway LOL, but I can see how others would say that… but it is an AWESOME dress !

I have to admit that I never think skirts that puffy look good that short…but as a couple others have said, it could really work for me if the skirt were just a couple inches longer.

That said, if one finds such short puffy skirts fun and attractive and one is having a very informal wedding, it would be absolutely perfect for the purpose. And kudos on those in charge of the photo shoot for having the model look happy. That goes a long way to selling a dress, so far as I’m concerned.

I, too, think if it were knee-length, it could make a lovely wedding dress for the right wearer. At its current length? I think it would make a dandy First Communion dress!

They had another white 50’s dress that would work as a wedding dress. It was also tiny, of course!

it’s beautiful, though it’s not my style. it makes such a difference when the model looks happy to be in the dress. so many of the traditional dresses are worn by such miserable looking models!
