Squeeee! There are new wedding gowns at J. Crew…or at least there are a bunch of wedding gowns I hadn’t seen yet. If you haven’t seen them either, I definitely recommend that you go check them out.
I love the Lucinda gown, even though it’s pretty much the most boring one in the bunch. What can I say? I have pretty traditional tastes. If I was more of a maverick, I’d opt for the Lisette gown, which is covered in gently swaying embroidered cotton flowers.
I got my wedding dress from JCrew (the wedding is this weekend!!!) I was very happy with their service. The dress is beautiful, and well made, and the silk is a very good quality for what I paid for it.
If anyone is thinking about ordering a JCrew gown, but is reluctant to buy such an important garment on the web, go for it! They are great!
Molly, I wish you and your intended every happiness.
I know the gown on the left is the most like the endless cookie-cutter gowns I get so tired of, but it has pockets! I love pockets! It’s also an exquisitely graceful cut.
The J.Crew wedding dresses are always absolutely stunning. I have even devoted a section on my blog to J.Crew wedding dresses.
I love the Daphne gown! It’s so beautiful!
i know! pockets! i am insanely jealous, though i do love my dress… it’s a way better cut for me then that one is, but… pockets are so good.
That’s it. I want somene to start up a line called ‘The Pocket Bride’ where the thing all the gowns have in common is at least one pocket somewhere. They could easily be designed to fit all sizes and figures and styles, but we’d have someplace to keep a spare lipstick or a treasured keepsake, or be able to figure out what to do with our hands when we put our bouquets down.
Congrats, Molly!
Good to know that their online shipping won’t let you down 🙂
Its hit or miss for me. Theres one gown I’d buy if I could afford (strapless, pockets, not the one in the picture) and then another I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole (the Fontaine). Amazing how much variety there is
