NtB, my guess is that TheRealPfhreak hacked an emulator version of the game that his fiance was playing on her computer. Fans of vintage video games can download emulators that allows them to play SNES/Sega/Playstation games on their PCs. (Wow, I am *such* a geek.)

If he did hack the cartridge, though, I am even more impressed!!

Oh, wow. This is incredibly awesome! My brother and I played Chrono Trigger on our old SNES, and as a female video game geek my heart skips a beat for this couple. I think this may be my all-time favorite unusual proposal.
