class factotum: A friend of mine wore beautiful red heels under her wedding dress, which also featured red accents. All in all, it was so beautifully coordinated, with red and white being her wedding colors.

I would send you guys to the photo of my friend Ilene in her wedding dress and fabulous red shoes, but unfortunately, my former bloghost (journalspace, spit on the floor, those jerks) lost FOUR YEARS worth of blogging in December so it’s gone, all gone.

But Ilene did look great and her shoes were perfect.

NtB, I’m a huge fan of colorful wedding shoes. The other day I saw a glorious wedding photo where the bride was wearing a pair of awesome chartreuse shoes. I was captivated.

Of course, a good pair of shoes is always an excellent investment in my book, no matter what the color or purpose.

I work in an office building, so I’ve been breaking in my wedding shoes (which are these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7380453/c/4250.html) by bringing them to work in my bag and then wearing them around the office all day. It’s seven hours of break-in time per day, and I don’t have to worry about them getting dirty before the big day!
