I like ALL of these, especially the heather spray (they look so relaxed & happy together - bonus!) and the feathered band, which if I'd only heard it described, I would've though "Ugh, no".

LPC, I wasn't trying to go so white, but those were the images I found. OTOH, I can't see where you're getting 'classic' or 'Jackie O' out of the bride with the very spiky hair and the exuberant tattoo on her arm.

Class Factotum, I'm sure she was lovely on her wedding day...and that she is the rest of the time, too.

Melissa B., there are women who just look better with shorter hair. If you're one of them, then don't worry about what others expect; be the best Melissa B. After all, he's marrying you because, well, you're you, short hair and all. And I bet you're going to be a superfantastic bride. So there.

Twistie, thanks for this! I have chin-length hair (similar to the bride in the last photo) and I flirted briefly with growing it out, but I realized I really do look much better with short hair so I decided to leave it as is. (I used to have hair almost down to my waist, so I know the short hair is a better look for me!)

My husband's stepdaughter, M, got married last summer. Her hair is short and she looked adorable. Well, she looks adorable all the time, so it wasn't difficult. I would post photos of M's wedding but I told M not to invite me so M wouldn't have to deal with the issue with her mother, who did not know I existed at the time. (For the record, my husband left M's mother five years before I met him. I am not a homewrecker.)

Then her mother insisted that my husband, who raised M from the age of 11, put her through college and was asked by M two years ago to walk her down the aisle, not attend the wedding.

But M showed us photos of her wedding when she came to our wedding in September. And she looked lovely in her veiled short-haired glory.

Man. I just cannot stick to the point, can I? But there is so much I really cannot blog about because my blog is open to my family and friends! I need a top-secret blog!
