Photographer Corinna J. Hoffman took this beautiful picture of one of the more unusual and interesting save-the-date announcements I’ve seen.
One of the brides-to-be whose wedding Ms. Hoffman will be photographing loved the handkerchiefs Lucky Luxe created for her so much that she had them sent to Ms. Hoffman first so she could photograph them before they were sent off to the wedding guests.

I’ll come right out and say that I LOVE the idea. While save-the-dates are not at all a necessary piece of wedding stationery in most cases, they have become a commonplace part of the wedding stationery package. I like the idea of a save-the-date announcement that is also a keepsake that goes above and beyond the usual postcard or magnet. Plus, a save-the-date handkerchief can be used at the wedding itself by those guests who know that their eyes are going to spring a little leak during the vows.
What say you? Awesome or a little too frou-frou?
I had originally had this idea for our wedding programs and now I am kicking myself for not going through with it!! Adorable!
Speaking for myself, I’ve got plenty of fridge magnets, but I can always use another hanky.
Handkerchiefs as save the dates, adorable. Handkercheifs as wedding programs…. amazing! I feel that I must steal this idea and tuck it away for myself.
Love! Ohmigosh!! Love love love!! Those are adorable.
Although… I can see one of my friends/guests getting it in the mail and not noticing the print, what with the busy patterns on the handkerchiefs. What a funny conversation THAT would be!
Love it! But of course, I am giving my maids’, moms, grandmothers vintage hankies with their initials and our date embroidered (by me!) on it. And seeing I don’t DIY (more prone to BIY) this is a BIG deal!
this is a nice idea, thanks for the post!
LOVE this idea!! It’s such a sweet sentimental idea to give this out to your guests 🙂
Only one question: how fast is the dye? Because I think it’s adorable, unless it turns my face blue when I go to use it.
Love it, love it, love it! Wish I had thought of it.
Wow!it seems too romantic. Very nice idea.
