On This Day…

… in 1993, I woke early, had breakfast, got dressed, headed out to a beautiful redwood grove, and married the love of my life.

Over the last seventeen years we’ve coped with feast and famine – and more famine than feast. We’ve dealt with illness, injury, and death. We’ve made good decisions and bad ones, laughed and cried, agreed and disagreed.

And do you know what? I would absolutely do it all again.

Sometimes happily ever after does sort of happen.

I just thought you might like to know that.

Congratulations! That’s what it’s all about! Sticking together.

  2. Big congratulations to you and Mr. Twistie! Have a gorgeous day!

Thanks, everybody! We had a lovely, low-key anniversary where – for once! – Mr. Twistie didn’t have a gig. We actually had our anniversary dinner on schedule, which never happens.

Congratulations! We’ve “just” been together for ten years and I’d marry him again every day if I could. When you’ve found the right person, marriage can be bliss and not the “hard work” everyone keeps talking about 🙂
