This came to my attention in an email from the beautiful Jeanette and I wanted to post it here so my friend Kristina would see it. She’s a big fan of the game Munchkin and this is the first ever Munchkin proposal I’ve ever seen:

If you’re familiar with Munchkin, this is one way to use the ‘Make your own card’ card that comes with the game. I’d put this right up there with other nerdy proposals we’ve featured here at Manolo for the Brides, like the Chrono Trigger hack and the Twitter proposal. The nerdy proposal may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if it works for you, then it works for you!
Was your proposal a nerdy one?
What a cute idea!! Mine was nothing nerdy, just a morning proposal in bed ( i loved it though!), but I’m glad my Star Wars loving fiancee didn’t include any storm troopers 🙂
Could you imagine, though? A whole battalion stomping into your bedroom in the a.m. and dropping down to one knee? Maybe not the most romantic proposal, but certainly memorable!
My official proposal happened two hours before our wedding, when I went into my husband’s home office, sat on his lap, and suggested that he might want to actually ask me to marry him.
I don’t even remember the unofficial one. Once we started talking about the possibility of marrying, it was just assumed it would happen. Especially after he bought me my engagement trash can.
@The gold digger Engagement trash can! I love it!
I sure would feel bad if he stacked the deck wrong and an unintended player kicked down the door.
livejournal proposal. hells yeah i’m a dork.
