NtB Loves: Paper Wedding Flowers!

I’ve posted a handful of paper flower bridal bouquets in the past, but of course, bouquets aren’t the only places you can use paper flowers! How about paper flower boutonnieres, paper flower reception table centerpieces, or paper flowers hanging from chairs and pews, or scattered on tables? It’s definitely not traditional, but paper flower wedding decor and accessories can be incredibly cute! (And for some, DIY friendly…)

HUGE flower wedding table centerpieces

And classic paper roses

Very cute, no?

Alternative, but similar idea: wedding pinwheels!

Love it! You can also make this a very Earth Friendly project by using a handmade/recycled paper from a company like Twisted Limb Paperworks, who recycles junk mail into amazing craft paper.

In the green vein, you could probably recycle them when you were done, too! But a paper bouquet is one you can keep forever without it getting gross. Dried out flower bouquets? One word: Ew.

I love the pew/chair decorations! The colors are fun without being childish and very pretty together.

All of these are whimsical flowers. Have you seen some of the realistic paper flowers that are out there? I like the do it yourself kits from The Crimson Poppy and some of the Martha Stewart paper flowers.

The Crimson Poppy also has paper flower favor boxes you can make yourself. They’re a little bit whimsical but kind of realistic too and you can choose from a lot of colors.

There are also some great paper flowers on Etsy.com if you search for them. I think they are the way to go for wedding flowers!
